Making a Request (Articles)

If an article's not in our collection, you can submit an Interlibrary Loan request. Set up an ILLiad account beforehand.

These articles may have 'Check shelf' or 'Check available services' in the search results. Click article title for options.

Scroll down to "How to get it" and click 'Request Item via Interlibrary Loan'.

New Users: This will take you to an ILLiad logon screen. Click on "First Time Users" and follow the instructions to create an account.

Returning Users: If you're not logged into myRedDragon, enter your username (first name.last name - leave out @cortland.edu) and password. Click the 'Logon to ILLiad' button. Otherwise, you will be directed to your account.

You will then be taken to a request form in ILLiad. Most information should already be filled in from ONESearch. Verify that all required fields are filled in (they have "(required)" in red).

Click "Submit Request" button at the bottom of the page.

ILLiad sends an email when an article is ready. It can be accessed from your account for 30 days.
