Requesting Books from the Library

SUNY Cortland faculty, staff, and students can use the Request Item feature to get books from Memorial Library. If the book is available, library staff will pull it and have it ready for you to pick up at the library front desk. If it is currently checked out, your request will place a hold, so it is reserved just for you when it is returned. You will be notified when your item is ready, usually within 1-2 business days for circulating materials. For special collections or archival items, the archivist will reach out to schedule an appointment. Need help finding a book right away? Stop by the library front desk.
