Screen readers recommended for use with ProQuest Ebooks:

  • Major screen readers (JAWS and VoiceOver) for reading the contents of a web or ebook reader page aloud.

EBSCO e-Books

EBSCO eBook Accessibility Users Guides: 

Screen readers recommended for use with EBSCO eBooks:

  • For eBooks in the EPUB format, any screen reader should work properly, since EPUB was developed with accessibility in mind.
  • JAWS and NVDA screen readers for online eBook support, although other screen readers should be able to read the ASCII text, when activated.
