Course Reserves

The Library's Course Reserves provide access to course readings and materials from the educational programs at SUNY Cortland.

What can be placed on Course Reserves?

• Personal copies of books
• Any circulating Memorial Library book

What may not be placed on Reserves?

• Interlibrary loan books
• Student Papers without permission
• Entire books or journals that are scanned.
• Non-book formats such as DVDs, CDs or VHS

How many items may a faculty member place on Reserve?

Faculty may place up to 25 items on Reserve.  If more are required, please contact reserves@cortland.edu.

How can I incorporate electronic articles and eBooks into Brightspace?

• Identify and copy the correct permalink to the material, which will allow access both on/off campus
• Add the link to your Brightspace module
