Click a title from the results list to open a detailed page about the source (called a record). To find articles that have cited the article since it was published, click the Metrics and Citations button from the top menu. Scroll down to the section labelled "Articles citing this one", then click the "view articles" link.
Scroll to the bottom of the record for the references. Click the Find It button next to a reference to search for the full-text.

JSTOR has excellent resources for your project. However, it is an interdisciplinary database, so you may want to limit your results using the advanced search:
Scroll down to the Journal Filter section, and select one or more disciplines. For this project, definitely select Sociology as shown below, as well as Criminology & Criminal Justice.
