LGBTQ+ for K-12

These are books highlighting and celebrating LGBTQ+ identities. Since many books relating to diversity speak to challenges and conflict, it is important to also point to books that celebrate joy of identity, self-esteem, and self-confidence. These Joyful Affirmations books provide some examples.

• Search for subjects such as self-acceptance, in combination with LGBTQ+ terms or identities, or broad topics, such as "gay pride"
