Use MLA, APA, or ASA to document resources.  Librarians are available to help, and we also have both online and print resources for a variety of styles.  If you have questions, contact Lauren the Librarian, stop by the Research Help Desk in the lobby, or chat with a librarian.  Print style manuals are available at the Research Help Desk, and they're great for tricky or unusual citations.

Some resources have built-in tools for generating citations, including Google Scholar and library databases like ONESearch, SocINDEX, and JSTOR.  However, automatic citation generators tend to make errors, particularly related to capitalization.  Always check automatically generated citations for accuracy against a reputable resource like Purdue OWL.
