Where to Search...

Where can you search for materials?

  • ONESearch: A great, broad place for starting out, since it searches for (almost) everything and includes many different formats. There are also many options for refining your searches.
  • Native American Studies Databases: These databases will return fewer results, that will typically be more specific to African American Studies.
  • General Databases: Narrowing down from ONESearch, these databases (usually) include primarily academic articles, but are still very broad in coverage of various subject area.
  • Google Scholar/Web: Find out how to connect your web searches to free full text through the library using Libkey Nomad.
